Directions for Commuting to Myoshinji Temple
The picture below depicts the Myoshinji Temple road sign, address post (2631) and driveway entrance on Appian Way. The temple itself can not be seen from Appian Way. It is actually located behind the Bay Park Retirement Residence, which is the large housing complex in the photo. Just go straight down the driveway between the Myoshinji and Bay Park signs, and you will see the temple and the temple parking lot in the rear.

For those who are taking Bart, the closest station to the temple is the El Cerrito Del Norte. From the El Cerrito Del Norte Bart Station an AC Transit Bus Connection (Line 70 Appian) to the Pinole Vista Shopping Center (AC Transit Code: PNOL SHCN) is available. From the AC Transit stop in the shopping center there is a half-mile walk North on Fitzgerald Drive to Appian Way, and East on Appian Way up the hill to the temple.
